Job Role: Data Analyst – Power BI

The role of data analyst using Power BI focused on collecting, analyzing, visualizing data to help companies take good decisions. The role involves:

• Data collection and preparation: which involves data integration, data cleaning, data transformation,
• Data analysis: which involves data exploration, advanced analytics,
• Visualization: which involves dashboard and report creation, data storytelling, custom visuals,
• Collaboration and sharing: which involves publishing reports, collaborative insights, scheduled refresh,
• Performance monitoring and optimization: which involves report performance optimization, data model optimization,
• Stakeholder engagement: which involves understanding business needs, providing actionable insights,

Familiarity with SQL or other querying languages for pulling data from databases and having experience with data visualization principles are the skills required for the person to ace the role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Working in conjunction with the Product Owners on my team to gather requirements
• Be able to provide quality control on developed tools meeting or exceeding customer expectations
• Communication skills with the business teams
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Technology (B. Tech) & equivalent
• Knowledge of visualizer applications (Power BI and Tableau) for front end customer review and access
• Understanding of Workflow applications (preferably Salesforce)
